Associate Attorney

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience

  • The ideal candidate must handle their cases responsibly and promptly.

  • Take depositions and try cases.

  • Provide clear communication with clients, co-workers, and partners.

  • The ideal candidate is prepared to handle their caseload from the time a law suite is filed to trial.

  • Our attorneys are supported by excellent staff. This role is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to be a litigator.

 

Job Type: Full-time on site

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

  • Illinois law license (Required)

Paralegal - Spanish Speaking

Qualifications

We seek a self-motivated, fluent Spanish-Speaking Paralegal to ensure smooth operations of litigation files, effective case management, and research. 

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Must know Illinois civil litigation and discovery processes.

  • Applicant needs to be organized and able to handle daily file management of a large volume of cases from the filing of the lawsuit through to arbitration or trial. 

  • The job requires a variety of tasks to assist attorneys in bringing cases to a successful conclusion. The ideal candidate must handle the issues responsibly and promptly.

  • Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.

  • Administratively support trials.

  • Prepare and file motions and monitor the discovery process

  • Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research.

  • Locate and develop case-relevant information.

  • Maintain contact lists

  • Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars.

  • Proven working experience as a paralegal

  • Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system

  • Satisfactory knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a legal office

  • Working knowledge of case management software

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work in the fast pace environment 

 

Job Type: Full-time on site

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

  • High school diploma 

  • Work experience and/ or completion of a structured paralegal education program. Most paralegals in Illinois have completed at least an associate's degree program, usually in paralegal studies or a related subject.
